Old Town Spring Scrub
Serve your community and serve your planet by joining a team of volunteers working on a variety of projects throughout Old Town. In addition to giving the area a good clean scrubbing, we will be collecting and sorting waste/recycling, painting new murals and re-painting Old Town signage, prepping flower beds and the community garden, cleaning up the riverbanks, and much more!
To register to volunteer and let us know your activity preferences go to http://www.earthdaylansing.com/volunteer/
If you’re not able to attend another great way to help this project is by donating some of the tools and supplies we will need to complete the work. Any tools or re-usable items will be donated to the Old Town Community Association. Some of the items needed include:
- Push Brooms
- Trash Bags
- Paint Supplies (contact for details)
- Hand Tools for gardening
- Work Gloves
- Mop Buckets (4)
- Mulch
- Epoxy
- Shovels
Don’t have time to go shopping for us? No worries, we could use gift cards to Menards or Home Depot!
